The draw for the Round of 32 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup was conducted. Former Uganda Cranes vice-captain and SC Villa’s 2014 Uganda Cup winner, Hassan Wasswa Mawanda, officiated the proceedings.

Defending champions Kitara FC will face Kampala Region side CATDA FC, who play their home matches at Kakungulu Memorial School playgrounds. Joint record holders Express FC are set to travel to Yumbe for a contest against West Nile Region’s Total FC. Meanwhile, KCCA FC will visit Arua to battle Kuluva Rainbow FC, and last season’s runners-up, NEC FC, will journey to Lira for a clash with Big League team Blacks Power FC.

The draw was conducted without any seeding, meaning all 32 teams were randomly drawn from a single pot. The first team drawn in each fixture will play at home.

This stage of the tournament follows a single-match elimination format. If a game ends in a tie at the end of regular time, the winner will be decided through a penalty shootout.
