In a strong rebuttal to recent speculation, dfcu Bank has dismissed as baseless and misleading the circulation of unfounded stories aimed at causing unnecessary concern among its customers and the general public.

In a press statement issued by the Bank’s management, dfcu emphasized that the allegations hold no merit and should be treated with the contempt they deserve.

“We assure our customers, stakeholders, and the public that these claims are without basis and should be disregarded,” the statement read.

The Bank further stressed that its focus remains on delivering secure, reliable, and innovative financial services to individuals, businesses, and communities across Uganda. It urged the public to rely only on official communication from dfcu and to ignore misinformation from unverified sources.

As a regulated financial institution under the oversight of the Central Bank of Uganda, dfcu reaffirmed its dedication to safeguarding customer deposits, which are protected by the Deposit Protection Fund of Uganda up to UGX 10 million.

This latest move underscores dfcu Bank’s commitment to transparency, stability, and trust, even in the face of attempts to shake public confidence.
