Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE) 2025 kicks off this Wednesday 21st May through Saturday 24th May at the Speke Resort Convention Centre, Munyonyo. Now in its 9th edition, the expo runs under the theme “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation”, focusing on climate adaptation and sustainable tourism. The event will bring together over 100 international travel buyers, local tour operators, investors, and government agencies for exhibitions, panel discussions, and business networking.
Key highlights include keynote speeches from President Yoweri Museveni, Tourism Minister Tom Butime, businessman Sudhir Ruparelia, and MTN Uganda CEO Sylvia Mulinge, with participation from the World Bank, UIA, and URA.
