Uganda Airlines, the national carrier, has strengthened its grip into the digital space by officially unveiling its new customer ticketing mobile app.
The launch event, graced by aviation enthusiasts, stakeholders, and the media, demonstrated the airline’s dedication to enhancing the passenger experience through modern technology.
In a colorful unveiling ceremony held at Sheraton Hotel, the momentous occasion marked a turning point for Uganda Airlines as it introduced its cutting-edge mobile app envisaged to make a great impact on its service delivery to her customers by offering them unprecedented convenience right at their fingertips.
While the launch, Jennifer Bamuturaki, CEO of Uganda Airlines described the innovation as a pivotal milestone in the airline’s journey to improve service delivery.
“This app will allow customers to effortlessly book, pay for tickets, check-in, and even print boarding passes,” she said.
She further remarked, “In the past, customers would have needed to contact the call center to reserve a ticket. However, now you can interact directly with Uganda Airlines, choose your preferred flight time, and select your flight.”

The new app features an intuitive user interface designed to simplify travel planning, booking, and managing itineraries while offering a range of features, including real-time flight updates, flight bookings, check-in services, access to personal flight details, and digital boarding passes.
Aiming at redefining the air travel experience, the app will address concerns about data security in the digital age and incorporates robust encryption and authentication measures to safeguard passenger data.
It is also poised to enhance personalized and efficient interactions with passengers while making air travel more accessible to a diverse audience all at the comfort of their palms. The app also stores passenger profiles, eliminating the need to repeatedly enter personal information.
