Girls Rising, in partnership with Astar95, is organising the Donate a Shoe Campaign to provide 200 pairs of shoes to vulnerable pupils at Bunangaka Primary School in Bulambuli District.
Many children attend school barefoot or in worn-out footwear, exposing them to injuries, infections, and discomfort. A proper pair of shoes offers protection, dignity and confidence while helping a child participate more comfortably in school activities.
A contribution of UGX 20,000 provides one child with a pair of shoes. Individuals, organisations, and well-wishers are invited to sponsor one or more children or contribute any amount towards the campaign target.
